Guest guest
Hi everyone, I haven't been posting a lot, but I've still been working on different things. As far as my website goes, I've basically got to get it up and running before mid Feb. I was wondering if these two things are good to include. One states disadvantages, and the other section talks about things you might not have considered. What do you all think? Should I include these two items of the site? Thanks so much for your input! Kacey Saline Breast Implants: Disadvantages 1. Saline breast implants are not lifetime devices, and may need to be replaced (even without systemic problems) more than once a decade. According to current statistics from the FDA, 20% of the patients implanted will require further surgery within five years of implantation. With each additional surgery, breast tissue is lost. 2. Women who have saline breast implants are at risk of acquiring a variety of infections from their implants which may occur at any time, including fungal and antibiotic-resistant bacterial infections. Mold, mildew, algae, bacteria, and fungi have all been found in explanted saline implants according to Dr. Pierre Blais, a pathologist in Canada, who has examined thousands of explanted implants. 3. Implant rupture can go undetected for years, and silicone (from the silicone envelope) is known to migrate through the lymph system, cross the blood-brain barrier, and the placental barrier. It has been found in the brain, spinal fluid, ovaries, liver, muscles, and other organs of implanted women. 4. Most implanted women experience capsular contracture which is caused from thick fibrous tissue that the body builds around the implants in an effort to wall-off the invading foreign body. This can be very uncomfortable and often causes severe pain. The capsule causes the implants to become very hard and causes severe deformity over time. 5. Many women who have saline breast implants have reported a change in breast sensation. Often numbness and loss of sensation are experienced, especially with the nipples. Sometimes, the opposite is true and there is an ucomfortable hypersensitivy. 6. Many women with saline breast implants have experienced severe necrosis (decayed and destroyed tissue) and other forms of breast tissue loss. 7. Many women with saline breast impants have experienced serious autoimmune diseases post-implantation including: Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Scleroderma, Multiple Sclerosis, Sjøgrens Syndrome (severe dry mouth, eyes, etc.), and Lupus. Those women with pre-existing compromised immune systems are now warned to avoid implants. 9. Disproportional numbers of women with saline breast implants have reported neurological and cognitive complications, as well as endocrine disruption including hysterectomies, miscarriage. 10. Saline breast implants can easily rupture during mammography. 11. Saline breast implants make routine self-exams and mammography more difficult. More views are necessary meaning additional radiation each time. 12. Children born of women with saline breast implants have experienced the same autoimmune conditions and this situation has been seriously inadequately studied. 13. Saline breast implants often negatively affect the ability to produce milk for breast-feeding. 14. Health insurance carriers are routinely denying coverage for implanted (and explanted) women. 15. The envelope of the saline breast implant contains over 40 different chemicals and metals which are toxic to the human body. Many of these chemicals are carcinogens and neurotoxins. (from Ilena Rosenthal) Things You May Not Have Considered: (This popped up when I was doing research (below)!) Regardless of new findings and new gadgetry in regards to breast implants, consider the following ! 1. This is major surgery. 2. Are you aware that the weight of the implants will impact your spine and back through the years? Scar tissue is an inevitable build up result from the body's natural reaction of rejection. That's right! The body REJECTS these artificial devices even after the mind decides to have them in. 3. The surgery performed on your chest is a shock on your entire system. Consider it similar to a major car accident. Are you aware of that? 4. Cosmetic surgeons are like car salesmen. They want to make the sale and will go to extremes to pad their bank accounts. By receiving implants you are perpetuating this damaging practice and dangerous industry. Are you aware of that? 5. Do you realize the unnatural firmness eventually becomes a very disgusting feeling? 6. Do you realize that having bigger breasts will often promote men to be attracted to your chest and not you? 7. Are you aware that a LARGE percentage of women that have breast implants are very insecure and should have their insecurity addressed before receiving implants? 8. After the implants have become thoroughly disgusting, the price to have them explanted are sometimes 10 times the implant price. Were you aware of that? 9. Are you aware that the composition of the implant bag (including saline implants) contain a significant amount of silicone? 10. We are aware that SOME women have had success. But from our professional research, you'd be better off rejecting them now as most our going to their early graves, stubborn to reveal their true suffering. 11. The decision is SIGNIFICANT. Years may go by before the impact sets in. Is it worth compromising your health? 12. Do you realize that the most compelling reports in support of implants are written by MEN!? Men , who will never have the same operation performed on them. Someday, implants may be safe. In this day and time, you become human experiments and test case statistics. Reject them. Stop this silly exploit of women.
