This was the first mapping to see if I could get more power without having any vertigo or other adverse effects. I'm so glad to say that it's been good so far. I can understand some speech in my left ear but it still sounds like Alvin and the Chipmunks. Anyone remember them? LOL I asked for this mapping to be a 720, which is what my other ear is. Slower speeds sound so much more rich and bassy to me so I really prefer them. Higher speeds make some sounds much too sharp and I end up with a piercing headache. Music is better because there is more depth with 2 ears and hearing in noise is better too. I can enjoy the radio in the car with the windows open more than just with one ear. That needs a lot more work though. Today (Sunday) I will be going to a Teacher Union Day gathering at the Waldorf Astoria so I'll see how I do with trying to hear people in a lot of people noise! **************Plan your next getaway with AOL Travel.
