My first CI was covered by Blue Cross/Blue Shield. I received 2 processors. The next surgery was covered by my Medicare Rider which has to follow what Medicare will allow. I received two processors then also. - it may be that when you had your surgery which was quite some time ago, there was only one processor allowed.
