Guest guest
There's probably a LOT you could have added, but brevity is the soul of wit, and gives you a better chance to get a foot in the door, and get the thing read. Does Oz insurance pay for 2 hearing aids? Because if they do that, then 2 CIS should also be included. I've often said there is no more powerful weapon that a person who KNOWS how to write a letter and WILL WRITE IT. Lots of people complain, but few will sit down and write. When I had a battle over spectacles that were made wrong, and the company (run out of an opthamologists' office) refused to refund my money, I started writing. I wrote the Better Business Bureau, and the credit card company that I charged the glasses on. The credit card company immediately issued a refund allowing the vendor a chance to fight it. Meanwhile, the vendor kept returning the glasses to me. First in a box with their return addres, Then in a box from a keyboard for a computer (and no return address) and then in some other shoddy box with no return address. Each time I took it back to the post office and marked " Refused, return to sender " They were DUMB enough to use their postage meter for the postage, so it was easily returned. LOL. The final time they sent it to me, I wrote a letter to the Postal Inspector for the City, took the box and the letter down to her, and mentioned that the company kept trying to return merchandise to me that I had repeatedly told them I didn't want. If I had the merchandise I wasn't entitled to a refund. And that they were now using the U.S. Postal Service to harass me. This is a federal crime. I guess once the FBI went out and told them they were in violation of a federal ordinance, they backed down. I also reported the physician who ran the office to the Ohio Board of Medical Examiners. While I had nothing personal against the physician, he did hire the woman who was dispensing glasses, and was her boss and responsible for her behavior. All of the people responded and I got the money and claims are on record with the Better Business Bureau, Bd of medical examiners and the Federal Government. So, nothing worse than a person who knows how to write a letter and WILL. Keep up the good work, get the ball rolling and just because things have always been done THAT was is no reason why it should continue being done that way. ____________________________________________________________ Click here to find experienced pros to help with your home improvement project. http://thirdpartyoffers.juno.com/TGL2141/fc/PnY6rw2eRJBCDNvLwPBwrqANz9WXrDU5Y4Qc\ F8jYxyLXlOPyedtmz/
Guest guest
Thanks . I'm not sure if the private medical funds cover cochlear implants or how many. But most pensionable people like myself, can't afford private medical insurance. The Medicare system which is applicable to everyone only covers one CI. That's what I need to try and get changed. I love your terrier like attitude :-). You sound like great fun to be with.
