Guest guest
Just remember there are very good studies that show glucosamine with good results as an anti-inflammatory and as increasing the anti-inflammatory response of NSAIDS. I have never seen research that showed glucosamine actually repaired cartilage, even though this has been a big selling point. Guest guest
Yesterday my CI fell off my head into a bucket of water. I dried it off on my shirt I used the blow-dryer. Things sounded really funny, I could hear, but it was muffled and crackling. I called cochlear americas and my audiologist. Cochlear told me to put it in the dry-n-store for several hours and see if that fixed it. Guess what! It did. I couldn't believe it. Has anyone else done anything this stupid? Guest guest
ROFL - Oh boy Vicki. You had to bring that one up. That was the exact picture I had in my mind, when I read 's story too! The shower and the ocean!!! OH BOY!!! Huge difference a bucket and ocean, how can I forget that one! - I'm so glad your processor has survived. Whew! That dry n' store trick worked like a charm for you and the ocean person! I'll tell you I've been officially bilateral since SEPT 15th. My new ear is pretty swollen right now and my processor just this weekend flew off into something that had water in it! What escapes me right now as It's been a long weekend! (I think it was my coffe mug I use for my water.) I was able to take it off and dry it off, with my shirt and took the battery off and stored it. Now it's in the Dry n' Store box. NOTE TO SELF: Bring some drying capsules and a ziploc bag to work! Whew... I work long weekends, so I didn't get home until early this morning. Seriously, I'm about ready to adapt one of the felcro ideas that is used on my Koala bear and that some one else had suggested. (Just don't like the idea of something " sticking " to my head!) Again, - what a trip that much have been for you. I'm just glad that your processor is ok. (Stay away from buckets! Winks.) ~ Kitty S. ~
Guest guest
Well, you know?I kind of think Jackie has the right idea -- this is exactly why we should NOT do housework!? As for the velcro idea, I don't know about you Kitty, but I do have something " sticking " to my head! Vickie
