Listening to me on the telephone

I talk to my Mom, age 94, on the phone. She has a moderate

hearing loss so I sent her my t-links which help her a lot.

That leaves me with my CLa7 neckloop or a bluetooth neckloop.

I use a cellphone (Blackberry) or my landline.

My mother can hear my one sister, who uses no ALD. But

when I talk to her I sound hollow or echo-y to her. My second

sister, who has no hearing loss, also says I sound that way;

however, when I use NO ALD, I sound fine to them. The trouble

is, CI or no CI, I struggle a little to hear my mom who sometimes

sounds a little weak, depending on how she feels that day.

Does anyone else have friends who complain that you speak as

though you are in a bottle?

Any ideas or suggestion for a different neckloop?
