Guest guest
Beth, I Also went to Dr Kolb, has a postive ANA, and also an enlarged thyroid (I have HAshimtos now) but the ANA went away, along with most of the symptoms within a year! I had a million other things too. Too may to name! it takes a while, but worth all the miles! Good luck to you! ----- Original Message ----- From: iggyangel7 Sent: Tuesday, March 02, 2004 4:55 PM Subject: Re: Surgery on March 11th --- Hi, I will keep you in my prayers, and you will get better.. Guest guest
beth, another thing, esp. if you had saline- candida overgrowth is a very common fungal infection seen in implanted women, and will cause this dizzy- drunken state too. usually caused by the leaking implants or the stress on your immunity. (also is known to effect the thyroid big time) Anyway, as they function or die off ,they release amounts of different types of alcohol, and that may be why you are dizzy! I couldn’t drink with the implants. I always felt drunk off and on the last 2 years with them/ Didn’t go away until I got the implants out, and started treating with anti fungals, diet with no sugar/starch, to kill the candida off. Also, I was tested twice for MS, (nothing came up on the MRI, or the electrical testings) as my left foot was numb all the time, and the dizziness. Terrible. Ask the doc how scared I was, calling her all the time. it is quite common, and has went away after a few relapses. I know it is SCARY! getting them out is the best thing you are doing for yourself! Blasted Toxic bags! Good luck girlie! Email me if you need anything. ----- Original Message ----- From: iggyangel7 Sent: Tuesday, March 02, 2004 4:55 PM Subject: Re: Surgery on March 11th --- Hi, I will keep you in my prayers, and you will get better.. Guest guest
Beth, The positive ANA is something significant. It may indicate lupus, which is nothing to play around with. Hopefully after explant, that ANA will return to normal like 's did. There were others here who had positive ANA's.... in Canada? (Gosh, where are you--how are you, ?? I hope that is the right name!) That, and the enlarged thyroid says something serious is going on, Beth, and getting the implants out will be vital. How in the world can the rheumatologist possibly say there is nothing physically wrong when you have those signs???? Get a grip, for crying out loud! It sounds like he is the one who needs counseling....for a new job! I'd fire him on the spot. What a worthless idiot in a white coat. (As you can tell, I get really riled up when I hear stuff like this from MD's. They really fry me with this know-it-all attitude.) Guest guest
- Beth I just wanted you to know that my prayers are with you in this difficult time. It sounds like you are dealing with alot of nasty symptoms. I too, had constant heart palpatations, weird numbness and bee sting like pains all over my head and that terrible drunken like dizziness that made me feel like I had aliens crawling around inside my brain. The terrible dizzy drunken like state disappeard less than 2 weeks after explant although a more normal type and much milder type of dizziness happened now and then past that point. My heart palpations got much better after I started antibiotic therapy. All in all, I am much better today than 2 years ago!! I can't wait for your surgery!! love, kathy -- In , " bethlakey " <bethlakey@y...> wrote: > Hi everyone, > > I just wanted to let you all know my surgery is scheduled for > next Thursday.
