Guest guest
Just to say that I am hypo at the moment (7.30 evening) having forgotten to take my lunchtime 3/4 grain, and my head is awful - thick, confused, numb and I feel really dizzy. My temp just before taking my armour at 7.15 was 37.35 or 99.23 whereas last night was 36.85 or 98.33, so the temperature went up due to not taking my thyroid, not the other way. Hopefully as I return to comprehension after taking the missing dose it will go down a bit & I will get less dizzy. I hope I have made this clear but my head is still strange but not as strange as before taking it. Val I do feel as if I have become slighty more hypo with the temp drop but saying that I just checked it again and its now 36.5 which is 97.7I am so fed up with it all sometimes and maybe if it wasnt on my mind all the time I could just get on with life and stop thinking about everything
Guest guest
Hi , temp goes down slightly (few tenths of a degree), nothing major so may be why. Temps raise when you ovulate then go down when you have period. You know if your preg by temp if it doesn't go down and stays the same as when ovulating. Ruth x > > Hi > My temperature has really taken a dive today, 35.4 this morning and > just now 35.7. > I have been due my period for the last couple of days and have signs of > it starting today, could this be why? I thought just before a period > the temp raises slightly? >
Guest guest
Hi Val I cannot believe that you have gone "hypo" because you forgot to take your last dose of 3/4 of a grain. You would still have lots of T4 in your system. Are you sure this isn't the start of a bug/virus or something else. Being dizzy is often an indication that you are taking too much thyroid hormone replacement and is your body's way of telling you that you need to cut down. If you get the same feelings when you get back onto your 'normal' routine, it could be that you have reached your "sweet spot". When did you last increase your dose?
