Ya know, Patty, I've been wondering whether this is not the reason the Baywatch babe has been having hers reduced, or at least that's what she's been telling the media....maybe the real reason is gradually going back to her own size w/o implants ? Wish I could contact her to ask, but wonder if she'd admit it if it was true ? She's had what, 2 reductions now ?

"Silenty", please ! Your boyfriend might want you to have slightly fuller breasts, but I doubt if he would OK it if he knew it could cost you your health ! This could end up being a life or death choice, girl ! If you really want a bit of cleavage ( understandable, you;re young), rather opt for the Curves thingies. Your boyfriend loves you as you are now, right ? If you want to make a "bigger" impression on the world out there or just do it for yourself, then it doesn't matter what is really u/neath your clothes. The only people who are ever going to see you naked is you and your boyfriend, possibly your doctor ( and he doesn't count !). Believe me and all the other ladies here, a fabulous cleavage is worth Jack when you're too sick and exhausted all the time to even get out of bed. Don't just take our word for it, see the testimonies file. If you come across women who have had implants and have had no problems, ask this: How long have they had them in for ? It sometimes takes 4, 7, 10 years before you get sick, butyour body is being poisoned all that time. Other people have them in for only a month before they get ill. Exactly 3 weeks after my gel implants my hair started coming out in handfulls...we were travelling around Europe at the time and within 2 weeks I had to go hunting for a wig.......Took me 10 years to realise what was causing it and many other hassles..the chronic fatigue made me lose many of my friends and nearly my boyfriend too, who got fed up with me always being too tired to do anything, inlcluding making love....yet no doctor could tell me what was wrong.

What has truly got me going on a mission here is that annually thousands of women are streaming to South Africa for what they call " Plastic surgery safaris" where they come on holiday and have implants done at the same time, because it is so much cheaper here. Our currency is much weaker than the dollar, so an implant would cost $2500 all inclusive, plus airfare, and silicone is not banned here !

Don't kid yourself, girl, salines are just as dangerous as gel, the saline has an expiry date, and "goes off" inside your body. Ask a contact lense wearer what happens if they used expired saline ontheir lenses ? It burns your eyes like crazy ! Add fungal growth to that and you're in trouble. Your child deserves better than a chronically tired mom, your boyfriend wants you healthy and smiling, but most importantly, don't you want to live healthily until you're ready to check out at 80 ? I know I'm coming down on you real hard, and even I wasn't convinced up until a few weeks ago, but now I know better, thank God !

Take care

Hi there,

If you want to read stories about those who suffered from saline implants, you can go to our files section and read all of our stories there. There is probably at least 2 dozen of them. One thing you have to remember is that saline implants are made with silicone outer shells, so everything that you have heard about the silicone gel implants applies to saline ones as well. In addition, saline implants have an added problem, and that is the trouble with fungal and bacterial infections, which can allow mold and mycoplasma bacteria to grow inside the implant and around the valve. It is pretty nasty and can take your health down in no time flat.

Here's the link to our stories:

As for all the hollywood actresses that seem okay, the truth may never be known about what they are or are not dealing with....most of them are not going to put their careers on the line by speaking out, and they have the money to get expensive alternative treatments to help them when their immune systems get whacked out. However, some of those actresses have spoken out. Mariel Hemingway, Blair, Sally Kirkland, Leigh Young are just some of them. Another actress, McDonough, formed a foundation to help spread the word to other Hollywood women. You can see it here:

Sally Kirkland's can be seen here:

Hope this helps. Don't be deceived...implants are not safe, and though some women seem to be able to have them without exhibiting autoimmune disease symptoms, I don't believe the human body can withstand that kind of assault from a foreign object for years without suffering in some way in the end.

Patty

Subject: New here

Hi everybody, I am 21 yrs old, 5'1, 95lbs and a size A....I am naturally small everywhere so having small boobs isnt really a problem, and my fiance likes them, (but would like me to get bigger ones) but before I had my child I was at least able to manipulate them into forming somewhat of a cleavage, and now I can't even do that...I don't want big boobs, I just want decent ones, I want to have saline implants, so I started researching yesterday and now I'm really scared about it...but then I realized I was reading the silicone implant stories, and I've only seen a couple anti-saline stories, I did read postitive stories to, but I'm still scared of getting sick after putting them in...what about all those celebrities who've had them, they seem healthy to me, and so...not everybody gets sick after these right?....What do ya'll think...Thanks

I believe the Baywatch babe was one who spoke out against implants, along with McDonough, so she knows! She's probably had some bad times with them and woke up to the truth, hallelujah!

http://www.intheknow.org/ Before the FDA advisory panel met, women from the entertainment industry joined Ms. McDonough to launch In the Know during a press conference held in Los Angeles, California September 5th, 2003. Among the women who lent their support to the event were nominee and Golden Globe winner Sally Kirkland, Mariel Hemingway, Blair (The Exorcist), Judy Norton (The Waltons), Leigh Young (Dallas, Slackers, Soylent Green), and andra (Baywatch).

Hey, I didn't know about those South African plastic surgery safari's. Yikes! Doesn't surprise me though. Too bad they are promoted so shamelessly like that. "Get 'em cheap! Have a holiday!" Right. Well, you've got a perfect opportunity before you Fiona! You go girl!
