I was not one of the lucky ones, she removed nodes and pieces of silicone that had escaped the capsule, she could not remove all of them yet! she removed what she could. I was better in the beginning, and now am sick again, not all cases are alike mine was quite expensive., I believe that it was closer to $9000.00 not including lodging. I did not find them as helpful as I thought they would be., when I needed copies of my medical papers more money, implants to be returned to me more money etc.......after they were paid the care seemed to end also. Dr Pheng in her own skill is fantastic, the care about the SILICONE POISON she is not supportive nor is her staff. if you have a mapping done first and pinpoint the silicone if any in the breast area I would not go to Dr. Pheng, in my case because of the silicone leakage for so long it was necessary for the percission of the surgery necessary in the removal of the loose pieces. Do be aware that the price is SUBJECT to change, so if money is tight it would be better to go to another surgeon perhaps the one that is in Texas Dr. Melmed it's something like that, I know that the ladies in this group can direct you to a surgeon that will not take and take.......I am not here to judge the Dr.,she is a great surgeon, I just think that to many surgeons including Dr. Pheng are jumping on the band wagon and getting rich over our illnes, the poison they knowingly put in us, and now charging us sometimes double and even triple the amount to remove it. They all seem to say they care in reality very few do. I had to tell you this. If it is a closed casing with no leakage of silicone, I WOULD NOT GO TO DR.PHENG. Guest guest
I agree with you. I think their are docs around that can prob. do the implant removal and capsule removal as well without charging such high prices. I don't know about Dr. Feng, but the prob. I have with Dr. Kolb is that she still puts in saline implants? Now why in the world would she do that? Somebody please give me a good explanation. To me that is a HUGE RED FLAG!!!! Guest guest
Hello Debbie: It's about what i am saying these Dr.'s are PLASTIC SURGEONS, they have went to school to learn the technique of changing the body and repair when necessary, most of their money is in BOOB JOBS,NOSE JOBS,etc....The care is out the window they do not care it's about the money, now find a Dr that will not inject a person with the poison, there you will find a Dr with Integrity and Values, they are few!!!!! Dr. Pheng still IMPLANTS, this all sort of reminds me of the movie ALIEN!!!! It's about the Money the loss does not matter. We first need to realize that the Government,FDA,Attorneys,Plastic Surgeons, all have DEEP POCKETS, and they keep getting deeper. We are Expendible! This is nothing new it's just a new awakening for US. Remember this, the Women are being destroyed by our own!!!!!!"Debbie B." <debsings04@...> wrote: I agree with you. Guest guest
Debbie: I went to Dr Kolb and asked her that very question. Women are going to have implants so they might as well go to someone who will give them all the info, good and bad, and they can make the decison for themselves. Not all women get sick from implants and at least if they do, they know it was there choice to get them given all the information and they can take responsiblity for that. There are enough hacks out there willing to implant women as long as the product is on the market. Doesnt make sense that someone skillfull does it? >From: "Debbie B." >Reply- > >Subject: Re: Dr Pheng Patients INFO FOR Nantynannie >Date: Mon, 23 Feb 2004 10:37:43 -0800 (PST) > >I agree with you. > >I think their are docs around that can prob. do the implant removal and capsule removal as well without charging such high prices. Guest guest
---I see the concern and the worry of integrity of these PS's, but I do believe that when it comes to silicone and the bags, I believe alot of us are genetically predisposed for rejecting these things, and unfortunately, not all women reject implants, so that is why I dont have a problem w/Feng doing implants, she will inform on what she has seen and the possibility of complications. Yes, for me, when I hear of any one lady who wants these toxic bags, I go ballistic, and give them the lecture they dont want to hear... I do believe that saline is not safe though... I believe that the water does go rotten in the body, so I do not understand that, but they are in business I guess, and FDA still has stamped their approval on these hell bags... just my thoughts! Guest guest
Sad to say, almost all the plastic surgeons referred- even here, do augumentations with breast implants for patients. As an example, even Dr Feng does as well. Look at her site, she does "an excellent job" at it. I don’t care if they do 100, or a 1000 a year. the fact is they are still doing it. It isn't one controversial Plastic surgeon, but almost all of them. In fact, I think they all do. it’s a sad world, but the demand is out there. ----- Original Message ----- From: Vickie Sent: Monday, February 23, 2004 1:04 PM Subject: Re: Dr Pheng Patients INFO FOR Nantynannie Debbie: I went to Dr Kolb and asked her that very question. Guest guest
So Right! , The spelling was WRONG! Lu-Feng,M.D., I guess I was a little more than harsh on the Doctor., on the brighter side she did do a great job in surgery. Please forgive the negativity on my part. I guess the real anger is within myself on my decisions. I should of been more selective in the implant procedure in the first place.and like the rest of us it is not a good policy to judge. I am so sorry to have started a negative. Thank you all for being available, Patty you have started a wonderful site here that is greatly appreciated.
