I don't know what they recommend but that's where my test went and that is what I had to do as well. I don't remember if the instructions told me to. I did it anyway.

Yes, , the same instructions come with the FFP test. Stop all iodine for 48 hours. Then take the 50 mg Iodoral and collect urine for 24 hours. Zoe

I think it should be OK but I would call the lab and ask them.
