Iggy,

You probably could start your detox right away after explant, but you certainly don't want to get into it too heavily for about 6 weeks or so, as your body will be recovering from the surgery, the anesthesia, and travel. Give yourself a rest, and just try to eat lightly and keep away from junk foods. Let your body do its thing to get rid of all the surgical effects.

Then you can start with more vigorous detox.

I have found the best juicer to be one that uses twin gears. I really like my Green Power. It keeps the juice from being exposed to too much air and killing the beneficial enzymes that centrifugal juicers tend to do, and yet gives a good quality juice without being too much of a hassle, like the separate grinder and press is. The Champion is supposed to be pretty good, but it is not a twin gear....it is a masticating juicer. I would ask questions about the potential heat that is released through the mastication process. The twin gears keep the heat down, and is pretty easy to clean, and gives great quality juice as well as being able to juice wheatgrass. (Centrifugal juicers can't do wheatgrass.) I've had the centrifigual juicers, and even though I agree that they are really easy to use, the quality of the juice is very much compromised with these.

Here is a good link to check out the different juicers available:

I'll be thinking of you Iggy, and wishing you the best as you go for explant!

Hello Patty, Iggy and All!

I have been a member for a while now. This is one of my few posts so

far.

Patty, I just got a Jack LaLanne Juicer which I like but I believe it

is the kind you mention below. How specifically is the quality

compromised?

Patty Stated: I've had the centrifugal juicers, and even though I

agree that they are really easy to use, the quality of the juice is

very much compromised with these.

Patty, would love your guidance if possible!

I just tried the juicer and want to do my best to break a long time

sweets addiction while silicone detoxing. I started with carrots,

celery and beets and it was disgusting! I then added parsley,

spinach, lemon, & ginger trying to make it taste like V8 Juice (which

I like). Then I added the green powder to try and help keep my blood

sugar even – I have low blood sugar.

I had too many beets in it cause it looked like pure beet juice! LOL

Anyway, It was too strong - so overly detoxing I felt sick about 20

minutes later.

Will try the carrot and apple combo you talked about next, and keep

it simple, however I am disappointed I do not like the taste.

I am trying to juice so that I detox " gently " . Is there even such a

thing Patty??? Every detox I have tried has given me immediate

overwhelming symptoms. I am finally feeling good enough after explant

a year ago to work and to function somewhat normally. I can't work of

course if I continue to be sick. I would also like to be able to do

the detoxing without continuing to suffer terribly like I did for so

many years.......

If I would only have to go through a couple of days of " hell " I

would be happy to brave through it but I don't think it will be that

short of a time span. I also fear I will be so sick that I may

dehydrate and end up in the hospital etc......(that happened to me

once for other reasons).

I still get sick for about 3 or 4 days at a time if I stop the

toxicity symptoms using a natural antibiotic so this is one more

reason I am looking to find a way to get through this detox as

symptom free as possible.

Thanks so much, I appreciate your opinion Patty, and anyone else who

may shed light on this...

Hi ,

Sorry about the delay in responding...there's alot of posts and it's been a crazy week...!

The liver detox posted in the files section under Liver flush II closely resembles the ones I use by Dr. Hulda . I just checked it out, and it actually includes Vit C powder, which I haven't used, and also I use 3/4 cup grapefruit juice rahter than a half cup. I usually fast the first day, too. I have found the flush to be extremely beneficial for me, and in fact, I plan on doing another series soon. I think just one flush may not be sufficient for us, and found that I had to do a series of 3 or 4, a week to two weeks apart to really benefit from this flush. Good luck, and let us know how it goes. Here it is:

This is similar to what I have seen referred to as a "GallBladder Cleanse."

LIVER CLEANSE

Ingredients :

4 tablespoons of oral Epsom salts

1 tablespoon Vitamin C powder

1/2 cup virgin olive oil

1 large fresh pink grapefruit

2 glass jars with lids

16 oz. apple juice + beet juice

Procedure :

First day:

1. 9:00 am: Eat a breakfast of cooked porridge, no milk or butter; 8 ounces apple juice + beet juice; baked potato, no butter

2. 2:00 pm : Mix 4 tablespoons of oral Epsom salts and 1 Tbsp of Vitamin C powder in 3 cups of cold water in one jar, and refrigerate

3. 3:00 pm : Have a warm water enema

4. 6:00 pm : Drink 3/4 cup of the cold Epsom salts

5. 8:00 pm : Drink 3/4 cup Epsom salts

6. 9:45 pm : Pour 1/2 cup olive oil into the second jar; squeeze out 1/2 cup grapefruit juice and add to the olive oil. Close the jar lid and shake hard until watery.

7. 10:00 pm : Drink the potion. Lie down immediately. Lie still on your back and go to sleep.

Second day:

1. 9:00 am: Drink 3/4 cup Epsom salts. Go back to bed.

2. 11:00 am : Drink 3/4 cup Epsom salts. Go back to bed.

3. 1:00 pm : Get up and drink 8 ounces apple + beet juice.

4. 2:00 pm : Eat a banana or an orange

5. 6:00 pm : Eat a light supper of salad and fruit; no meat

Many stones will be seen in the toilet upon the first bowel movement after a liver cleanse. It may take several cleanses over a period of months to clear all of them out from the liver.

Following a liver cleanse, it is useful to have several coffee enemas to pull further toxins that are stored in the liver. Use organic coffee beans, and about a quart of coffee each time, retained for ten minutes.

Best of Health!

Dr., Saul Pressman, DCh, LTOH

Rogene,Thanks beyond words for your response...Your explanations are appreciated!I do know about Candida, but it doesn't make it any easier breaking the addiction! LOL My "drug of choice" tends to be cookies and cake. I am doing a liver cleanse that is raw grated beets with Flax oil and Lemon Juice. I was shocked that to me it Tastes Great> I say, Better than the veggie juices! The raw beet cleanse is done every couple of hours but I have only been doing it 2 times a day cause that is all I can do without the horrendous detox effect. I would like to know the liver detox Patty uses. I will wait and see if she responds.I did get virgin coconut oil for the skin and will start using it! The Epsom salts sounds wonderful. If it detoxes without symptoms that will be great. You said: You should never detox to the extent that you feel terribly ill as a result.Rogene, the problem is I can not get started with a detox cause the very first hours or day I get too ill to be able to mentally handle it and keep out of bed. Have to work of course. Between that and the sugar addiction, (I am eating less sweets and processed foods and am determined to break the addiction although I am having a hard time going cold turkey. LOL). I will keep in mind the Epsom salts…I have been into healing modalities and alternative medicines for about 20 years. At 16 I started having a very sick endocrine system and when I got that under control at about 35 that is when the silicone poisoning started. Then I was treating my sinuses for infection (when really it was toxicity symptoms) by boosting my immune system all along and I think it kept the problem in check till the final silicone rupture. By that time I was suicidal I was so sick. Had I not been treating my immune system I think I would have gotten sicker years earlier and sped up the process I went through. I mean to say I worked hard on the immune system and did not know the cause so that resulted in years of less severe symptoms and yet very, very ill. I did have mammogram years ago and I remember them not doing a good job clamping down on my breast and figured I wasted my money. I was afraid it was going to rupture. Hindsight I think that was my gut feeling that it already had. I'm working with a Chiropractor/Acupuncturist who has an awesome book he sells and also uses in his practice. It is a workbook for his clients that explains everything he uses in the way of diet, body mind spirit, and many supplements, detoxing etc. He shows how he targets which organ systems are compromised in each patient and how he reads basic lab reports to correlate findings when the tests show nothing. I am lucky to have found him. Thanks again and I can not express enough my gratitude to you all….I am gaining so much from the posts.
