Hi ,

Thanks so much for your encouragement! Now I have a world of

questions floating around in my head, but I see my doc on Tuesday so

he can help out as well (he's an osteopathic doc). I'm so happy you

reassured me that I will get better...I really needed to hear that.

Okay, I do have FM. A doctor suggested antidepressants, but I told

him that I am happy. Unusually happy for someone this sick. Now

you have me thinking. Does FM get worse if you have any type of

strong emotion, or is it just when things go bad? I am completely

in love and have so loved being " distracted " from all of the pain.

Any thoughts on dealing with the FM would be greatly appreciated.

Currently I'm on oxygen for an hour a day because it's suppose to

help with muscle pain.

I will also be sure to get my throid checked out. They just did my

liver and checked my Tylenol level the other day. I'm just trying

to make it through this time of extreme pain, but I know I'll be

better. It's so hard because I've been on a high dose of Prednisone

for the past few days...and feeling better than I have in a long

time (but that was only on 60 mg)...and I know my time is limited.

I crammed in a complete weekend of normal " 20-something year old "

activities when I know I should be resting. But it's just so hard

not to be normal. I just want to shop and hang out with friends and

work...and and and. I've also been trying to use my hands as much

as possible because I know that I'm not going to be able to use them

once these meds work out. I know, I know, I'll learn to take it

easy eventually. I'm so Type A I drive myself crazy.

Thanks so much ,

Kacey
