Guest guest
I would take this ulcer as part of the bromide detox. And as a good sign that the stuff is getting out. Since you have bromide blemishes, it souls like the bromide wants to come out through your skin. There are reports in the Dermatology literature about bromide ulcers. I wish you had access to someone who could examine the contents of the ulcer. Scroll down on this page for reports. http://www.breastcancerchoices.org/bromidedominancetheory Lynne Hi gang, would love some input, have just discovered an ulcer on my breast today, it is near the aureola, and must have come up virtually overnight, it is still quite small, 2mm x 2mm open ulcer with a 1mm raised border on one side graduating to 3mm on the other.I take Lugol's drops, x 8 per day and have done since March 07.I've never had an ulcer before other than oral.I have hashimto's and hypopit from head injury in 06, take T3 (break from Armour for rt3 and protien digestion issues) HC, and all the other goodies.Only recent change is that I have been put on to progesterone cream (7% x 1ml x 14 days a month) due to high oestrogen and inability to take DIM (same problem as Armour - genetic digestion issue), have broken out in pimples everwhere too. Start the year off right. Easy ways to stay in shape in the new year.
Guest guest
Thanks Lynne, I haven't had any detox symptoms prior to this in the 10 months of taking Lugol's so hadn't thought of that, but I knew this group would know! Australia is medically very backward when it comes to the actual dispensation of medicine, we have great researchers and some great technical innovations, but the coal face of medicine is in the dark ages, IMHO, so I woudn't even knwo where to begin to find someone to examine the contents of the ulcer. Thanks again :-) Cat > > > I would take this ulcer as part of the bromide detox. And as a good sign > that the stuff is getting out. Guest guest
Thanks everyone for replies - update: Saw my GP today and he didn't like the look of it at all, and wants me to see a dermatologist to rule out squamous (I think he said squamous and not basal) cell carcinoma. Probably because it is quite black now. I'm happy to oblige him with a visit and am curious as I've not explored dermies, but of course treatment will be my regimine, and not theirs. Thanks all for your support and info :-) Cat > > > > > > I would take this ulcer as part of the bromide detox. And as a good > sign > > that the stuff is getting out. Guest guest
Hi Cat, I had a squamous cell carcinoma on my face and it took a long while to develop. If I remember right, yours happened rather quickly? Still, if someone is willing to analyze it with a biopsy, in your shoes, I would go ahead with that. I had a freind who just passed away Christmas Eve from squamous cell cancer. thyca 1965 Re: Breast ulcer and iodine Thanks everyone for replies - update:Saw my GP today and he didn't like the look of it at all, and wants me to see a dermatologist to rule out squamous (I think he said squamous and not basal) cell carcinoma. Guest guest
Thanks , your personal experience means a lot to me, and like you said, it's unlikely to be so, but I quite like this GP and after me hassling and baffling him with thyroid and adrenal stuff that's over his head (he's not my primary thyroid doc, but one who is local and manages my iron overload and general health) he seemed quite chuffed to be officious and knowledgeable and send me off to someone... His comments were along the lines of: " superficial so likely skin rather than breast tissue ulceration, I don't like the look of it, I want to make sure it's not a squamous cell carcinoma. " You're quite right I think in that it came up quickly, or rather I noticed it suddenly when it was oozing and raw in the mirror - it's just to the side of my breast in a spot that doesn't easily come in to view, and being as sick as I am and as busy as I am, my personal body awareness is mostly taken up with thyroid type symptoms and pain from my injuries... skin I'm not so good at looking at. Also, breast with ulcer is larger than the other and slightly painful, although the ulcer itself is entirely painless. Thanks again :-) > > > > > > I would take this ulcer as part of the bromide detox. And as a > good sign that the stuff is getting out.
