Guest guest
I'd keep on calling the lab until you get a response. If you already paid for 4 more iodoral tabs, you can also call your credit card company and dispute the charges. It all sounds so frustrating to me when it should be plain and simple. Keep us posted. hmmmm, do you still have the pkg from the previous Iodoral pills that has the number on it? Maybe just get the pills from your dr and put the number from the pkg in place of the ones you already took. Shhhhh! Sue > > Good afternoon, > > My doctor ordered the Iodine Loading test for me a while ago. I read the instructions but apparently misread them. I took the pills 24 hours BEFORE the time I intended to actually start collecting. I called the lab and ordered another four pills; they took my credit card over the phone. That was more than a month ago and still I have not received the pills. As many of you know it is nearly impossible to get through to the lab. My doctor said he has a bottle of the pills at home and he'd be glad to give me four. However, I believe the instructions require the number on the packet of pills to be included on the form that is sent back with the specimens. > > How important is that number and is there any getting around it? Guest guest
It was a lot number. I would say that if there is a lot number on the bottle (can't remember if mine has one) then just put that number on the sheet. Guest guest
Hi, I plan to do the loading test before starting the Iodoral, per the advice of my Dr. I am a bit nervous about taking so much Iodine at one time. Has anyone had a negative experience doing the loading test? Are there any side effect from taking 50mg of Iodoral without working up to that amount. Please let me know if there is anything I should be aware of with this test. I appreciate as much feedback as possible. Thanks, Heidi
Guest guest
What do you mean " now " ? It has been $70 from Hakala Research. They just started doing the testing about 1 month ago. Steph loading test > The test is 70 dollars now and no return postage. Now, isn't that nice? > Esmeralda > > > > > > > > > >
