Hi all, my name is Ann. I am new to the forum. I am curious about a

few things and would appreciate any input.

First, I know a lot of us with (saline) implants are sick. There is

no doubt about that, but how do we know that it is the implants and

not just everday autoimmune disease? I know that the age group for

implants is the same age group for autoimmune disease and I wonder

how to differentiate between the two.

Second, how many of you have gotten better after explant and is there

any relation to the length of time you were sick and the chances of

improvement?

Third, what are the chances of this necrosis happening after a lift?

I am a bit frightened by that. I will have my saline implants out on

March 8, 2004 and I planned on a lift, but after seeing the pictures

I am not sure if I should chance it. Although I don't think I will

be happy with the result if I don't get a lift. Any input?

Fourth, how many cases of documented fungus inside or outside the

implants? I have a terrible rash on both breasts, very itchy and

nothing will make it go away (tried fungus cream and steriods).

Thanks!
