weird heart palps and throat pain

Hi and group. I could sure use your sage advice today. I was slowly upping my Iodoral after a week without any. I added one 12.5 mg pill in the morning for a few days but had to quickly add a 2nd afternoon pill b/c I was having massive heart palps in the evening that a salt flush and magnesium didn't touch. I have never felt palps like this -- it felt like my heart was doing summersaults. When I added the afternoon pill, those palps went away.

Have you had that ever happen? Was my body freaking out b/c it wasn't getting enough iodine?

Also, yesterday I forgot my morning Iodoral and didn't get to take it until noon. All day yesterday I had sharp shooting pains in my neck and very near where my missing thyroid is and also right where my perpetual parathyroid cyst is.

What would cause that type of pain there? Any ideas? I mean, it really hurt. I've had a few today but not as intense. Could my body be having fits without enough iodine?
