Pam,

The fact that your throw up was green is a good clue to pay attention to. I don't think that cold or flu viruses cause us to throw up bile---bile originates in the gall bladder, and is squeezed out through a duct into your duodenum to break down fats...and the duodenum is part of the small intestine, past the sphincter muscle at the end of the stomach. So bile isn't even normally in the stomach. When enough bile is in your vomit to make everything green, something is going on.

About the coffee enema...when my naturopathic physician told me to do them, I was like, "WHAT? No way, you weirdo!" Of course I didn't say that directly to him, but I sure as heck thought it. I just bypassed that part of my treatment, thank you very much. But the more research I did on detoxing, the more I saw discussion of coffee enemas, and decided I couldn't neglect it any longer. Pam, the science is there. Coffee enemas are one of the most powerful things you can do to detox, and one of the major benefits is the reduction of pain, to the point that morphine can be withdrawn! I encourage you to check this out for yourself. I have read all the books about Dr. Max Gerson and the Gerson Therapy protocol, and he has cured thousands. What more do I need to say?

Directions for the coffee enema can be found by the dozens on the internet, and I have posted directions myself numerous times on this group and in the healing therapies section in our files. The most important part of the directions is to use ORGANIC, FULLY CAFFEINATED COFFEE. (decaf is out.) Let me know if you want more info...I have tons.

Oh, by the way Pam, constipation is one of the easiest roads to chronic illness....all that stuff just sits up there and seeps toxins into your body until you get rid of it. Enemas are vital....if anyone here isn't going to the bathroom at least once a day if not more, get thee an enema bag! You will feel renewed, I promise you....

Patty

It very well could be that I have a virus again. I just had a stomach bug in November. Everyone in the house had it except for my middle son. He escaped because he was at a friend's house. The rest of us were sick as dogs - all within 8 hours of each other and at one point we were all sprawled out in the living room whining and crying holding our buckets! But it was over with as quick as it came. Then my daughter came down with something last week. She had nausea and aches and terrible headache. Her son (my grandson) had terrible diarrhea and a little vomitting. Of course I was the lucky on to clean it all up. I used big yellow dishwashing gloves to try to keep the germs away - but I probably breathed them in somehow. It's just weird that the yeast thing happened at almost the exact same time as the bug. Have any of you had lower pelvic pain with yeast infections? It's been so long since I've had one that I don't remember. I had a hysterectomy 5 years ago so there's nothing down there, but I feel like I'm getting ready to start a period. Patty, I can't believe I'm asking this...but what the heck is a coffee enema? Do you actually brew coffee and then do an enema? That sounds really disgusting! I have been so constipated for the last year, who knows what might come out! And yes the throw up was green - that is after the little bit of food and coffe came out. I still felt really nauseated this morning. I just ate for the first time today and it's 12:30pm. I hope it stays down. I lost 7 pounds in 8 days according to the doctor. He didn't seem like it was a big deal though. That's a whole other story....Pam
