Guest guest
Hi Sharon, I'm surprised your doc has you on " full liquids " so soon, but they're all different. Most do a week or more of clear liquids (ones you can see thru) before a week or two of full liquids (can suck thru a straw) and then softs. But sounds like you're doing ok. Agree on eating what you enjoy, just that in general you don't want liquid calories once you get to softs and to " real food " . Other than some skim milk for your calcium, of course. That cream of tomato soup probably has a zillion calories, which for now is fine, but in the long run may not be. (I love lots of liquid calorie things that I VERY rarely enjoy any more, since they're just too much fat/sugar/etc. Oh well. Note I didn't say NEVER, just VERY rarely. dan Tuesday, January 15, 2008, 11:23:15 AM, you wrote: > I believe it is very important to make sure you are eating food > that you truly enjoy eating.
