This is good news - see what a difference taking a letter to your doctor makes. I am concerned about your eyes. Looking at your photo which was taken I believe very recently, it looks like it is your right eye that might be swollen - has the image been reversed I wonder as this can happen. Here is a link about Blepharitis, have a look at the symptoms, causes, etc and see if this might be what you are suffering. http://wrongdiagnosis.com/b/blepharitis/symptoms.htm . Look through all the links on this site about problems with eyes as it might help you. Did your GP suggest any medication or referral. Eyes are so precious and you should get a specialist to sort out what is causing this.

Luv - Sheila

Hi Sheila, thought I'd give you an update about today's appointmenttoday my left eye has been very swollen, the entire eyelid's very red and painful like toothache in it.anyway, I had an appointment to see a new GP, took my letter along. The Dr I had booked with wasn't on, so saw Locum, thought to myself "here we go again" anyway, I gave him the letter and he sat and read it.He has put me for a complete TSH blood test to include ft3/4 and antibodies, but he did say that it was actualy up to the lab, which I understood. However, he did put on the blood order that I have actually been diagnosed as Hypothyroid but not on any medication. He said, this may give them a kick in the right direction. He has also tested me for ESR, glucose, cholesterol, heart, lungs, littery everything.I;ll post the results once I get them.If I get prescribed thyroxine I'll have to speak to Dr P about introducing it. I really hope it is the lack of hormones that is causing my eye problems only having one eye and now it playing up in the good one is a big worry, blurred vision and pain isn't nice. The Dr did say that you can get sinus infections if you hypo. We;ll see how this goes.
