Hi. I am losing a lot of hair. I started losing it before explant, but it seems like it's getting worse lately. (I was explanted about 6 months ago). I am 25 and it's freaking me out too. I know where you're coming from! My thyroid also checks out " normal " ...for what that's worth. If I happen to find an answer or help, I'll let you know...you do the same!

women here(unfortunatly), and was wondering if anyone has this and

it has not stopped even after explant. My thyroid is 'normal', I do

not have weight gain. I am 35, and it looks like i am slowly heading

towrd bald? It has been 3 yrs after explant. Any info. would be

greatly appreciated. I know there are worst symptoms than hair loss

(that I have), but this is really ruining my days. thanks dimonds68

P.S I am glad I got implants to look better and be more

glamorous..what a joke that was.....

Dimonds and Colleen,

Have either of you done any follicle-stimulating massages of the scalp? It sounds like your cells up there need nutrients to keep them fully functioning, and massages will help stimulate blood flow to the follicles. I am no doctor and I certainly dont' have all the answers, but I think a two-pronged approach, with heavy metal detox and then nutritional building would be helpful, too. Hormones definitely can be an issue here as well, with imbalances in any of them being able to contribute to hair loss. I am not sure what is the best approach on the hormonal issues, other than supplementing with the building blocks of hormones, such as DHEA and pregnenolone, and testing if necessary. And then there are the essential fatty acids, like Evening primrose oil, flax oil, borage oil and fish oils, all necessary for a full head of shiny hair. It could totally be a metabolic issue, where your body isn't utilizing a nutrient no matter how much you get of it. I think all you can do is try to throw the best supplements you can at it, make sure your not overloaded with heavy metals, and balance hormones. I sure hope you both are able to find some answers to help your situation!
