Guest guest
Multi mega B-vitamins are also indicated for adrenal support. Fatigued to Fantastic puts out a popular line. Best, Handcrafted Jewelry ~ http://www.ChestnutHillDesigns.comCurly Horse Rescue ~ http://www.CurlyRescue.com ~Flashlights are tubular metal containers for thepurpose of storing dead batteries.~ I think vitamin C and, of course, iodine are considered nutritional support for adrenals. Sea salt helps if aldosterone production is weak. Some people use licorice root, but that made my BP skyrocket. DHEA is a popular adrenal support, as is Pregnenolone. You might just have to try a few things.
Guest guest
You do make it sound easy! Wish everyone I knew had that kind of easy life! But maybe we are not talking about the same thing. It sure is easy to take Cortef and feel better, but it was much trickier to heal the adrenals and get off. Sharon > First you take cortef 5mg 4X a day. Then you add DHEA. This works for everyone except the occasional person who needs 7.5mg 4X a day. That's not hard. > gracia > > Definately agree with , Gracia. Guest guest
Hi Gracia, Are you kidding? You think people should stay on Cortef for life? There are always exceptions to the rule, but the 'rule' is that Cortef use is to give your adrenals a break, not to kill them off through disuse. I want to be healthy, not medicated for life. So yes, I got off. And yes, I sucessfully got off my thyroid meds as well. Sharon > why do you have to " get off " ?
