Guest guest
Gosh, that sure sounds like a catch-22! Do you intend to litigate? ----- Original Message ----- From: nannapam3103 Sent: Monday, February 16, 2004 1:53 PM Subject: Re: What test did Dr. Blais do on your implants?Patty Patty, the report he gave me went into great detail about how the implants had started to break down and how the faulty valves caused fluid to move in and out. He describes the fluid and what's floating in it and stuck in the valves, but doesn't say what it is. He told me personally that if I wanted to find out what was "growing" in them I would have to "sacrifice" an implant and have it tested. He said I would have to send it to a lab that specialized in microbiology. He told me that if I was going to try to make a claim against the company, the implants would have to stay in tact in order to have proof that they were faulty when they were taken out. ???? I'll call him sometime this week. If anyone has any thoughts, let me know.Pam
Guest guest
Hopefully our resident lawyer, Sawyer can help with this one. I am not sure what I would do, but I think I would lean toward leaving the implants intact and making an assumption to treat for mycoplasma and fungus, since those are the most common amongst us anyway. I definitely plan to file suit whether it's a class-action with Sawyer and those of us here who want to or if it ends up that I have to on my own. One way or the other I'm going to. Those implants never should have been put inside of me or anyone else. They were not fit for testing on rats!Pam> Gosh, that sure sounds like a catch-22!> > Do you intend to litigate?> >
