thanks so much for replying. they are saying my skin disorder is bullous erythema multiforme, but i don't buy it because of where the lesions are located and that in all of the things i have read, it is no big deal. rarely ever any treatment needed, except in severe cases. they are trying to blame it on the herpes simplex virus causing the reaction, but it can also be caused by an allergic response to something foreign in the body(HELLO! WHY DON"T THEY GET IT?), most of he time being vaccines, medications, etc. pretty perplexing, huh? have you ever talked to anyone with this problem or maybe do you think i could be barking up the wrong tree.

i am in the process of trying to get some info. from dr. kolb who is 5 hours away from me which is closer than memphis 6hrs. i am hoping for some info. from her via e-mail first. thanks for your concern, lisa robinson~*Patty*~ <redeemed7@...> wrote:

Hi and welcome,

I am always so sad to hear when it is mothers of young toddlers and babies that are ill and dealing with all these implant problems, because the young ones suffer right along with us, and our guilt about that can be overwhelming. I went through it too. My youngest was 3 when I got sick, and he is 9 now...I am hoping that he will never remember me as his sick mommie. I hope you will not let that guilt take hold in your life, but I am really glad you found us, too. You will be able to find information here that will help you make some decisions that can turn your life around and bring you healing.

Your implants need to be removed, and that is the only way you are going to get back on the road to health in the long run. You sound like you are having a particularly bad reaction dermatologically...this may be due to heavy metals from the implants, such as platinum, tin or whatever it is that your particular implants were manufactured with. It can be from mineral deficiencies or imbalances. In any case, it is doubtful that the things the doctors are going to throw at you are going to be cures for your problem.... only bandaids as you said. The cure is to remove the source of the problem, and start to detox your body as thoroughly as you can to help your body regain its immune system strength.

I am wondering, what autoimmune disease are they suggesting is causing the blistering sores?

Let us know how we can help you more. If you are in Tennessee, you have access to a very knowledgeable doctor there. I don't know if he is still in practice, but his name is Dr. Shanklin, and he was associated with the Dept of Pathology at the University of Tennesee in Memphis.

He has done some excellent work regarding silicone poisoning. Let us know if you are able to contact him and find him helpful to you.

Take care,

Patty

Subject: noone believes me!

i am new hear and so glad that i have found you! i just need to hear of someone that has had a similiar problem to mine. i was implanted march of 2000 and saw a derm. for a horrendous rash that has never gone away. all of the docs i have seen cannot tell me exactly what it is but it certainly could not be related to the implants?!? my primary dilemma is the rash which is more like blistering sores primarily on my buttocks, back of legs, and sometimes elbows. whatever they are calling it they do say it is an autoimmune disorder that just happens? or maybe related to herpes simplex virus. i have also suffered with debilitating mouth ulcers, sores in my nostrils, recently diagnosed add, extremely fatigued, and often feel like i have the flu. sound remotely familiar to anyone, if so please respond. the docs i am now seeing in nashville tn.(derms.) decided that i need to

take methotrexate which i took very reluctantly, but i was so sick i couldn't take care of my children. my youngest is 2 and when she would ask for something 900 times(like 2 yr olds do) i would sit in the floor and cry. it was all i could do to pick her up i was so sick feeling. so i do feel better, but i keep thinking if this could possibly be from my implants, it is nothing than a dangerous band-aid. any help, support, or advice would greatly be appreciated. i so glad i found you.
