Guest guest
Thanks for much for that invitaion! I have been busy with life, operations, and more. I had the band 3 years ago, and was doing well, lost around 55 pounds, but recently had the schock of my life when I found out the whole thing had migrated into my stomach, and was rotting in there! I had to have emergency sugery to remove it, which was horrible. I wonder has anyone ever heard of anything like that before? Thanks Mia From: moonshadow.sandy <moonshadow.sandy@...> Subject: An Invitation .. Date: Sunday, September 28, 2008, 2:23 AM I'm sending this by " Special Notice " to reach as many as possible I've been going back thru the membership records, and see lots of people who have not been active for awhile, sometimes for several years. We miss you! We invite you all to re-connect with us and tell us how you're doing! For those struggling, please know you're not alone. We extend a special hand of support and help. Banding is very hard, and it is very easy to fall back into old habits. But the Band is always there, ready to help us again, when we're ready. We're all here for you, to help in any way we can. We hope to hear from many of you! Sandy and Dan ------------------------------------

Guest guest
Hi, I am an old member of this group and would like to be active again. I looked at the web site and could not remember how to log in. I had my band put in April 2003 at 280 lbs and now weigh 215. I still struggle and would like to be able to share with the group. Can someone please give me instruction on how to get back in? Thanks, Lana McCord lmccord@... Guest guest
Welcome back! Your post showed up, so you're in! Can we give you some thoughts in resuming a good loss? There are lots of new documents in the files, here. The Band Guide, and new vitamin info for bandsters are the most impt ones to start with. Thery are in the files at the left. If it's been more than 6 months or so since you've had a fluoro to check pouch/band/esophagus status, that will be the first step to getting back on track. then, i indicated, you can also get a bit more fill. But do review all the basic band needs in the Band guide first. Glad you're back and connected! Sandy r > > Hi, > > I am an old member of this group and would like to be active again.
