Guest guest
Hey there Kim. The Surgeon in NY is Copeland(in Manhattan NY). I do not have her # right now. I tried to call information (411) to get it, but no luck. I had her # from my friend who went to her, but I misplaced it! I will call my friend this weekend, and get back to you with her #.( I will post it) I have not personally been to her, but my friend says she is very knowledgable Sergeon(about silcione). She knows to remove the capslues and all that good stuff. My friend had her implants removed by her. I would go there for a consultation, look at some before and after pictures. Don't know how much she charges and all that. She is in Manhattan sooo it may be $$$$$. If I would have known about her before my explant, I would have gone to her myself, being that she close to homee. This is the same friend that recommeneded Dr. , so I am thinking Copeland must be good! Do what makes YOU most comfortable. Also Kim, I am not telling you what to do, but from experince....don't wait to long to remove them. I had some symptoms RIGHT after implantation like yourself, and IF I would have had someone tell me to get them out then and there, I would have not wound up in bed for 1 yr and a half. ( collapsed 14 months after implantation, and could not even walk, or shower ...or lift my head for that matter.) I don't want to scare you, I just want to keep you from making the same mistake that I did, and help you. I belive the sooner you get them out, the better chance you have for a FULL recovery. And I really hope that happens for you :) 'hugs' dimonds68
