I sometimes have trouble swallowing tabs, especially the bigger ones...bad brain fog today, hope I haven't asked this question before.... Guest guest
You can feel your thyroid gland, by placing your head back, and below your adams apple, at the base of your neck, feeling from left to right, it is a butterfly shaped organ. If you can realy feel it, and it is tender- chances are it is swollen, or enlarged. I never knew I had a goiter! Arg! or a swollen thyroid (really same thing) or nodules until my doc found them. It isnt even noticable.... >From: "Fiona Parkinson" >Reply- >>Subject: Re: Re: Thyroid again >Date: Wed, 3 Mar 2004 08:31:36 +0200 > >Hi all, how do they tell if the thyroid is enlarged ?
