Guest guest Posted February 10, 2004 Report Share Posted February 10, 2004 Ann I definately recommend Dr. Pierre Blais in Canada - he does a very compete report and helped me win my appeal with me insurance co regarding the explant costs. He has a ton of good info - if you wopuld like, I can send you a copy of the report he sent me so you can see what a great job he did - it was over 40 pages I think and only cost around $350. If you let the doc take care of it i would seriously doubt what they report as I am sure they are " covering their butts " regarding potential lawsuits. He is an expert on failed medical devices, and particularly breast implants. His former position was the equivalent of a scientist and researcher with the FDA, only in Canada. He is wonderful, and so helpful. It seems to be too big a challenge, but we remain hopeful.
