Guest guest
Got a letter from Doc, he isn't going to do my GTT, to coin his phrases...In my view this test is very unlikely to give us any information that would lead to useful treatement. I sincerely hope that your recent episode of collapse is unlikely to recur....well THAT makes me feel SO much better then. (lowest form of wit but I like it) A revolutionary new treatment on NHS for hypoglyceamia and insulin resistance HOPING!! Its awesome, might catch on. Wait a minute IT DID He goes on to say that 'it could only be feasibly done by referring me back to the hospital and convincing a consultant it would be a feasible test to do.' Well, lets just not bother then eh? that sounds so darn difficult, can't be bovvered is what that sounds like to me. So the nauseus anxious feelings with the hot flushes and faintness and lightheadedness which I have regularly and have to eat far too often, the episode of confusion, dizziness, vomiting, talking gobbldegook with horrendous neck and head pains which made the on call doctor think I was having a cerebral bleed because my pupils constricted to light then dilated straight back but the hospital found nothing wrong, because I had had something to eat before I got there, that would not convince a consultant that I might be prediabetic, insulin resistant, reactive hypoglycemic? I don't even think there IS a treatment for it other than diet, but it would be nice to know if I have it instead of getting rushed off to hospital in case of stroke . Another darn co morbid condition from years of rubbish treatment for thyroid, my cup runneth flippin over. Sorry rant over God bless all luv Dawnx
