I haven't heard of very many people that have had issues with taking 50 mgs for the loading test. So, I was really surprised that I got huge toxic symptoms weeks later after I had been on the Iodoral for a couple of weeks at an extremely low dose. Sunny I don't think you have to worry about the loading test. If you look in the files of the group you will see that it is reported as $70 there in the options for testing. Hakala Research only started doing the Loading tests in December. It was $70 from the start - I was mis quoted the cost. Dr. Flechas charges $80 for his test and it includes return shipping I believe so it appears that they are actually the same price. Guest guest Posted December 17, 2008 Report Share Posted December 17, 2008 It is a good idea to test bromide because that will give you a "window" into what is the real status. If you show highly saturated but then have a higher bromide you know that you are not really that saturated - your receptors are plugged with the brominde and not allowing the iodine to get into the cells. Steph loading test I had the iodine loading test done at that lab also and I only had results of Iodine no bromine results.
