Guest guest
Hi Heidi, Because of your question, I did a little research about Thanksgiving. I have always associated it with the Pilgrims, the first year after they came to " the new world " . They had had a hard winter, but had a good harvest the following year, so they had a day of Thanksgiving - thanking God for the harvest. I found a couple of web sites that give a better history of it, I found it very interesting how Thanksgiving came into practice. http://wilstar.com/holidays/thankstr.htm http://www.top-education.com/HOLIDAYS/thanksgivingday.htm linda@... [ ] To everyone Hi everyone, This is a bit off topic but since I am on the other side of the world and we don't have Thanksgiving here I would love to know exactly what is it all about besides eating a big Turkey?(which I gather from all the American movies I've seen is what must be done!) Can anyone enlighten me? When exactly is it? Just in case I'm late on the date - HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL! Judy in AZ Hi, I am glad to hear you are feeling so good - you know if a doctor tells you have been a good patient you must have been very positive - of course you have a choice! You were very brave! Sherri, Nice to meet you - I am also quiet new here. Happy Thanksgiving to you too. Colleen Thanks for the congrats - I hope your exam went well and your flare blows away. Good luck to you for your results! Becky Hi there, nice to meet you - I am pretty new here, it is wonderful how positive you have been about everything that has happened to you. Guest guest
Cricket That is unbelievable! I guess they aren't the crew from " the loveboat " . I am sorry that you have to deal with this. I would be furious. I am so glad to hear your son will be ok. Will he have any scars? Do you think that your son will be able to get the cruiseline to pay for his teeth? I certainly hope so. I will pray about this situation and keep you in my thoughts Hugs, kathy > Sorry I have not really been on very much the last couple of weeks. > Its been crazy around here. > > 1. son decieded he whated a puppy.
