Shari,

I recently saw another idea for taking coconut oil that sounded interesting. The suggestion was to put it in with a serving of hot rice. Sounds like a good way--I usually try to eat it with something hot and so far, that has only worked well with a mug of hot chai or hot cocoa. I have tried to stay away from too much of that because of the sugar. (and I refuse to drink anything that is sugar free...no fake sugars for me!) So, this idea of mixing it with a serving of hot rice sounds like it might work!

I hope the new pain meds are working out for you okay!

Hugs,

Patty

hi everyoneI had my appt w/ my pain mgt doctor yeaterday and he changed me from Vicodin es tolow dose Methadone (1/2 of 5mg tab 4 time daily or 5 twice dailey) and phenergen. Does anyone have experience with these? He said that he has been using this combo a lot lately with chronic pain sufferers and it works well as opposed to the shorter acting Vicodin. He also talked about the implant issue causing Fibromyalgia and said that he is seeing more and more girls about this issue. Yet another doctor that believes us? wow. I am excited as I also received my coconut oil today from Wilderness family naturals! I guess I need at least 1 T.-3 T. per day according to them - any ideas on using the oil in recipes? I need to find creative ways to ensure using it as much as possible.thanksshari
