Guest guest
Hi, I was wondering if any of you have had pregnancy problems that have then been sorted by changing to Armour? I have just had my 3rd miscarriage over the past year, all missed miscarriages at 10/11 weeks (one Sep, one December & one just very recent). Each time 'the baby' stops developing at around 6 weeks, just as the heart should be starting to beat. I kept a close eye on my thyroid levels & increased my dose slightly immediately on getting a positive pregnancy test. I had a blood test as soon as possible & also went to see an endo at around 9 weeks (he was happy with what I was doing). Why I still wonder about my thyroid is I have 4 healthy children & no history of miscarriage prior to diagnosis of Hashimotos when my 4th was 6 months. Only 1% of women have 3 or more miscarriages so it isn't really that common. Obviously the hospital is now starting all sorts of tests, but I still think my thyroid might be the key(despite feeling ok on levothyroxine). I will read up about Armour as I know very little about it but would love to hear from anyone who may feel that a change from levothyroxine to Armour made the difference for them. Thanks
Guest guest
Hi , have you been tested for auto-antibodies? this is why you are miscarrying.I had 3 misses many years ago now, but doctors did not no what the problem was.you need to take selenium 200 per day and get the auto-antibodies down by suppressing the TSH hormone to 0. then and only then will you have a good pregnancy.the auto-antibodies attack the thyroid , which causes higher blood pressure and it also speeds up the metabolism which is the cause of premature births and miscarriages.hope this helps angel.Send instant messages to your online friends http://uk.messenger. Guest guest
Does Selenium really bring down the level of antibodies? I have high antibodies and have been taking selenium, 200mcg for a few weeks now. Its interesting to know it helps with the antibodies From: judith franklin <angel47572000@...>Subject: Re:3rd miscarriage in a rowthyroid treatment Date: Friday, 15 August, 2008, 12:03 PM Hi , have you been tested for auto-antibodies? this is why you are miscarrying.I had 3 misses many years ago nowhope this helps angel.Send instant messages to your online friends http://uk.messenger .
