Guest guest
Older Kids I am interested in getting a support group going here in San for parents of Adult kids in the Autism/Asperger Syndrome. We have so many issues facing us right now that I feel we need to network on. Surly there are a lot of parents out there with older kids who are having difficulty with day habs, group home living, transition, institutional settings, provider services? Quality of care for those living outside of the home? Please email me if you are living in the San area and are facing issues with those I have mentioned. We can make a difference if we group together! Thank you so much, Tricia

I left a jar in my car in the summer heat to see what would happen and it melted to a liquid state. Then I brought it in and left it at room temp and it solidified again, but the texture was changed. That is the only shea that I had turn grainy. It still works into the skin great and I'm using that jar for myself, but the heat can change it. I don't know if it's different with Bill's formulation, but you might want to do an experiment of your own to be sure. :-) Carol J
Guest guest
Carol J! Thanks so much for you input and sharing your experience. I am going to send off some samples to some friends and auction supporters. They live all over the country and they will know that this is my first batch and that they are the first people to try it. It will be a thank you gift but also I will ask for input. As I have been transferring it into small jars, I've noticed that the jar that was unrefridgerate was softer than the second jar that I got from the fridge.(makes sense, to me! LOL) And that none of it is peaking and soft, but it is still a nice texture. Does anyone have any comments on that? Did I not added enough oil? Too much? Not beat it long enough? Or is that just the way it becomes once it is jarred? (BTW... I did this batch with 1/2 lb of Shea, Aloe Vera, Grapeseed, and about a 1/4 tsp of mink oil ... all samples!... with just a few drops of Ylang Ylang EO) Thanks! Guest guest
Dan, actually I did ask for advice outside of my doctor. I posted on this board as well as the OH band board about most of my symptoms, but especially about those smelly burps. I even consulted the NUT at the hospital. Regardless, there need not be any finger pointing. I simply need to move past what is wrong and move onto my unfill tomorrow and getting things back to where they need to be so I can get back on track. I don't plan on gaining back the 80 pounds I've fought hard to lose. M _________________________________________________________________ Helping your favorite cause is as easy as instant messaging.
