What test did Dr. Blais do on your implants?

Some of you have mentioned the names of the organisms that were

growing in your implants that were identified by Dr. Blais. I'm

really confused! He tested mine for faulty valves which they both

had and for the shell integrity and they were both definitely

breaking down. He described the floating debris inside the implant

and the stuff stuck in the valves but didn't test any of it. He told

me if I wanted that done I would have to send the implants somewhere

else. I'm so confused...I couldn't wait to get the report because I

figured it was going to tell me what kind of micro-organisms or mold

or whatever was in there but that didn't happen. Did I ask him for

the wrong report??? I talked to his assistant when I " ordered " the

report.

Pam,

Did you pay for a report? I got a preliminary report from him, but since I was not intending to do any legal stuff, I declined to get further testing. You may need to clarify for him exactly what you want him to test for and order a special report. It would be very helpful to know exactly what organisms are involved so you can treat accordingly, I agree, but I was also under the impression that he did the testing for these organisms. Could you please clarify for us what he says when you talk to him?
