Guest guest
I know that we're supposed to avoid dairy, but I wonder if goat dairy (especially raw) would be as detrimental as cow dairy (especially pasteurized). I have access to a goat farm and would love to at least have some dairy in my lifestyle. Has anyone had any positive experiences with it? This is not a general question of raw versus cooked (I know both sides of both ad nauseum), but specifically related to gallbladder and liver issues. Goat is supposed to be much easier to digest. Guest guest
I have eliminated dairy from my diet, but I will take homemade kefir using raw goatmilk. I haven't done it only becuase I have to travel a good distance to the goat farm. My health has improved tremendously, and I intend to continue this digestive / liver-centric diet from now on. I'm aware that I can also ferment kefir from green coconut milk/water as well. juan > > I know that we're supposed to avoid dairy, but I wonder if goat dairy > (especially raw) would be as detrimental as cow dairy (especially > pasteurized). Guest guest
I've been drinking raw goat milk and kefir made from it for over a year now. I can't see how it could do anything but help. The fat in the milk is very easy to digest and assimilate. The beneficial organisms help the gut and the natural milk sugars feed the good bacteria and strengthen their numbers even more. The protien, enzymes, calcium, and other minerals are great for us to. I count myself very blessed to have a source of raw goat's milk within ten miles of my house. Not too many people in the land of the free and home of the brave have that priviledge any more. I'm going to take full advantage of it as long as I can.
