As useless as many GPs seem to be, they are better than the next option.

In this article the Doc quotes this

//GPs are still licking their wounds from the fight with the

Government over extended opening, in which they were given a choice

between a slap round the face and a doing-over with a baseball bat.\\

I think this is ONE of the reasons they are appearing to not care, too

much is distracting them.
