Guest guest
Superb photo's and story, . Exposure to this should be in every gastro-enterologist and abdominal surgeon's education. We would have fewer doctors and more gallbladders. ----- Original Message ----- From: Meydrech, CN<mailto:claudiascorner@...> gallstones <mailto:gallstones > Sent: Sunday, November 20, 2005 9:46 AM Subject: To Sunny ~ Large Stone >>>Hi guys, I am new here, but feel so much better just finding this group and reading all the information. About 2 years ago I had an ultrsound and was told I had a stone about an inch in diameter and needed surgery. I have avoided the surgery by just cutting way down on fats and rich foods, drinking lots of apple juice and eating lots of apples. But like ne, I am afraid of trying to expel it before trying to break it down. So I will be very interested in Dave's reply to ne re Beta TCP. Thanks for letting me join your group. As for a large gallstone, I did pass a stone that large, there is a picture of it at a link I'll add in a bit. It was a little elongated, so may have been 3/4 " wide and 1 " + long but there's a ruler next to it in the pic for you to judge for yourself. It came out in a " clump " , very clean, with a number of other smaller stones. I can't guarantee that it will be easy for everyone, every flush is so unique, but this one was pretty easy...maybe because the ducts get a little larger? more flexible? with flushing?? I don't know, it's a theory of mine, and have read over the years of others on the list who have had ultrasounds after flushing and been told the main ducts were a bit wide. Here's the link, and my flush " diary " so to speak :-) Have been doing this on and off since the mid 1980's: http://nutritionist.bravehost.com/gallbladder.html<http://nutritionist.bravehost\ ..com/gallbladder.html> If I can help you further, let me know.
