Guest guest
Shingles supposedly occurs only in people who have already had chicken pox. Did your two-year-old have chicken pox at some point prior to the shingles? Yes liver could have been compromised at two.>> He was up to date at that time (he's not up to date now, I know better now). But he does have ADHD and encopresis. And his brother is autistic which I put down to a bad pregnancy. I took antibiotics while pregnant with both of them, which is what I blame for the autism and ADHD. Guest guest
I think she is concerned with the fact that the child had immunizations. Can explain autism, adhd, and suppressed immune system. Shingles is caused by the herpes zoster virus. It is possible that it was passed on in utero, if there is significant immuno-suppression It would raise it's ugly head. ----- Original Message ----- From: Tina<mailto:frinh96221@...> gallstones <mailto:gallstones > Sent: Friday, October 07, 2005 7:22 AM Subject: shingles <<how many vaccines did child have, diet, enviro toxicity, your health status and dental work and enviro toxins during pregancy. Guest guest
My mother and aunt used to have bouts with shingles, and did reoccur several times over a period of years.. They were extremely painful. They both were RN's so figured out what was wrong, but have known of cases that took weeks for a dr to diagnose because no rash until much later after the pain. [ ] Shingles I asked the question about whether or not we were immune after the first bout with shingles. Tracey posted a link. I am going to copy the part in the article that addresses this and I am posting it here everyone to read. Most people who get shingles develop immunity to the varicella zoster virus and will not get it again. Only about 4% of people will have another outbreak in the future. When shingles does recur, it is often in people with a compromised immune system (eg, they are infected with HIV or are undergoing chemotherapy treatments). A second outbreak of shingles may occur many years after the first outbreak. When shingles does recur, the rash usually does not appear in the same location as the first outbreak. Thanks Tracey, Lottie
