I am in my 5th challenge and other than in the second one when I had to make

mine in excel (copied it to almost a *t*-did't have the money to buy it) . I

am hooked on using it, it has been one of the biggest tools in my success I

think, it helps keep me accountable, and organized, and focused.

I am finally catching up on my emails. My husband and youngest child have

been sick with sinus infections and chest congestion. Ashton has not picked it

up. Since they changed her IVIG to every two weeks, she is a different child.

She is more active, talkative, and no coughing. It amazes me. I can see such a

difference. It has been since March that she has started the IVIG, but she was

still getting sick at every three week intervals. Now it is like a new child

moved in. I keep waiting for her to get this and end up with her emergency

visits. I still panic every time she coughes, which lately is rare.

I have read all the emails about family. I too have had serious problems. I

am divorced, and the girls biological father wouldn't even give her medications

I would send. They only see him a couple times a year, but those times are

traumatic. He lives a different lifestyle, and refuses to understand her

illness. We have always dealt with the family that shows up with a sick child

saying,

" It's just a cold. " Sure enough, Ash would end up at the doctors within the

week. I have spent a great deal of time trying to educate family and friends.

An teenager died last week. She had CVID. I did not know her personally. I

just know that she never got the care she really needed from her family. It is

sad.

I just know that we have to fight for our children. This is serious.

I am going to send the IDF Handbook to the girls father when they visit him

after Christmas. I have mailed him numerous things. We will see if it makes a

difference. I keep praying he will understand.

Marina goes for another blood test soon to check her antibody levels. She

just got off antibiotics, and is still having some problems.

I am praying for all the kids.

Step - If you are going to a good herbalist and being

directed to the right herbs, it can help, but do think that

the gallbladder cleanse everyone talks about here would

be a good idea too. There's lots of links to read at the

end of each email, what I do is here (I have used herbs

for about 20 years too) at a page at my website you may

like looking at:

http://nutritionist.bravehost.com/gallbladder.html

I hope you find the help you are looking for.
