I found your link interesting in showing how SAMe (and glutathione) is very different in those with autism. Also this quote that suggests that methylation (as well as antioxidant activity) is higher in females. "The evidence suggests that both cellular methylation capacity and antioxidant activity are higher in females than males. The increased rate of methionine transsulfuration and glutathione antioxidant activity in females may protect females from developing autism." And, once again, the tantalizing short quip about neurotransmitters: "resulting in altered neurotransmitter synthesis".
