Workplace discrimination against overweight people

OK, so the woman in the article is NOT a thyroid sufferer. However, I

am myself at least 3 stone overweight because of my thyroid problem. I

eat properly and exercise regularly, even so my BMI would prevent me

from getting employment as a bus driver too!

I just have a horrid feeling that IF employers start to use the BMI as

a criteria of accepting or denying employment to prospective workers,

then we thyroidians are going to come off a lot worse than the

population in general.
