Guest guest
Hi all. I have experienced 3 gall bladder attacks over the past 2 months, 2 of which I went to the ER for. At the second ER visit, they did an ultrasound and confirmed that I have gall stones. Today I had an appt. with a surgeon to schedule a gall bladder removal on the 21st. After doing more research I have decided I do NOT want to go through with the surgery. I'm not just scared of the surgery itself, I am terrified of the possible complications it could have later on. I plan to a flush, but my main fears are that stones could get stuck when trying to pass and I will have to experience that horrible pain again, or that a stone could tear the biliary duct, both of which I have read can happen.. Has anyone ever experienced either of these things happening? And is there anything else I should know? I'm scared of both options; I don't want my gall bladder removed, but I'm also scared something negative could come out of the flush. Thanks. - allison
