Guest guest
Hi, Dave: Yes, it makes sense. I managed to keep my GB for about three years before having to have it removed. I felt like at the time that I had no choice in the matter because I had pancreatitis when two very small stones that I had passed stayed in my common bile duct. Oh, shoot, now thinking back at it, I do get kind of upset. I had tried so hard to save my GB, cleaned out my GB finally, and those last two little boogers just wouldn't pass with a cleanse. My GB was finally empty when I had it removed, although the walls of it had enlarged, which kind of scared me. I didn't want GB cancer. Well, it's all water under the bridge now, so just try HARD to keep your GB. My health has fallen since I lost my GB, and I'm being honest. I can't even manage to eat a salad now because I have problems digesting lettuce and the rest of the raw stuff. I do manage to have my fresh veggie juice that I juice, which is much easier to take now than eating the fresh veggies that I do love! At least I can do that, which is another thing, start juicing. So keep drinking water, but don't overdo it because you don't want to that. Sip on it during the day. Then start drinking -- daily -- organic apple juice. That stuff really does help you and breaks up stones too. The best kind that I've found is R.W. Knudsen Organic Apple juice because it's so potent. About Olive Oil, it's kind of strange, but one day my husband was listening to Harvey while he was out inspecting houses, and believe it or not, Harvey was saying that it's been found out that extra-virgin, fresh-pressed Olive Oil does break up gallstones and keep them from forming. So always eat your healthy fats and learn what those are. That Olive Oil works miracles! Well, in my person opinion, buy Dr. Cabot's book about the Liver-Cleansing Diet. Dale will tell you it's the best and has really helped him. He really did help me a whole lot, and the last time that I heard, he has managed to save his GB. I'm so glad for him and hope he's doing fine. It sounds like where you're at in this GB-saving program, that you're still kind of at the beginning, so I would not neglect it and start really trying to save it. You can do it, Dave. It just takes work. Mine was pretty far gone when I started trying, but I did have improvement. One thing that I tried was something calling Beta-TCP and took it at every meal. I found this out from Dr. Mercola, and it was a wonderful help for me: _http://www.mercola.com/1999/archive/exercise_prevents_gallstone_surgery.htm_ (http://www.mercola.com/1999/archive/exercise_prevents_gallstone_surgery.htm) But the single most thing that you can do now is to really work at saving your GB. Don't let it get bad. Like I said, mine was already too far gone even when I tried to save it, which is obvious to me now. But one thing is that I did at least gain some satisfaction because I outdid what an ER doctor said at an area hospital where I live in Dec. 2000 when I had a bad GB attack. He said to me, You could change your diet for a thousand years and it not help you. You'll see me really soon, or some words to that effect. So don't let some smart*ss doctor talk to you like that. Get busy and work on your diet, read Dr. Cabot's books and don't be cut on. You'll be glad that you did that. Take care, Susie Well, I was too sick to argue with him at the time and he was so smug and arrogant. I told myself, I may have to have my GB out one day, but it surely won't be that you'll see me. And right I was. It was in mid-June of 2003 when I had my GB out.

Guest guest
Hi Susie, I did not really put 2 and 2 together about the lettuce and other raw vegies. I did notice I could not digest them at all, but assumed it was alot of other things that caused it. You may be right. If you are extremely financially challenged would be the only motivation for the cheap stuff, outside of that I would evaluat eone's commitment and view of self. b.so,Epsom salt is not necessary anymore?Could I use rock salt instead? -Absolutely not! It is the magnesium you are looking for. Other forms of magnesium are acceptable as long as they are not in a Cal/mag supplement. c.What diet must we follow cus some say low fat,low salt,no salt,no fat?Am confused. d.Has anyone here did some flushing and had an ultrasound and found a clean gall?I just need to be convinced that it is all worth it. e.lastly,do we have a member here who is a doctor and is fully convinced about all these? -I expect not. A few natural health practitioners for sure. However the level of knowledge here is much higher (than one for sure and both probably). Nothing like what most of you have experienced to spark one's curiosity and thirst for knowledge. Especially for things that actually work; unrelated to profit or ego investment to " education " . -Dave Thanks so much!!! wina hi this is autumn...keep your mails coming but please, I would appreciate it if you would send me attachment on a staggard basis ,not by bulk.because I only have limited email storage .Hope you understand..but that doesn't mean i don;t like you to be my email pal,ok? remember...be a blessing!!!! autumn --------------------------------- FareChase - Search multiple travel sites in one click. Guest guest
Hi Susie, Thank you so much for all the excellent advice in your response to my post. I am so sorry that you suffered the removal of your GB and am grateful that you are helping others like me save theirs. I will introduce into my diet some of the changes you recommended. The link you provided (http://www.mercola.com/1999/archive/exercise_prevents_gallstone_surgery.htm) verified much of my experience regarding the relationship between GB disease and my recent attack. I knew that exercise was helpful but I didn't realize how damaging sitting for long periods was until I read this statement from the link: " Compared to the least sedentary women, who spent less than 6 hours per week sitting at work or driving, women who spent 41 to 60 hours a week sitting were 42% more likely to undergo gallbladder surgery. " I'm definitely going to get off my A** to save my GB! Regards.
