Guest guest
Could you get your bottle and copy exactly what it says? This is what my bottle says: TPCS. Iosol Formula II. Serving Size: 1 tsp Iosol solution (prepared as directed). Amount per Serving. Iodine 153 mcg. Zoe it was on the bottle. I always used two drops per day 2 drops=300mcg (OK 306mcg) drop 2 drops on water and drink, well mix it up and drink. Gracia Gracia, where are you getting your information that one drop of Iosol contains 150 mcg iodine? Zoe

Guest guest
OK. The reason I asked is that the specifics on my bottle are quite misleading unless you read it VERY carefully. I rather suspect your bottle was like mine and said in tiny print that the "serving size" [not "drop"] was 153 mcg. Reading the label quickly, I myself initially thought it was giving the information per drop. It was only after really examining the label very carefully (because of the group discussion) that I realized it never gave the amount of iodine per drop, but rather per "serving size", which was defined as "1 tsp Iosol solution (prepared as directed)". In a third place, it then gave the directions on how to prepare the solution. A most confusing label !!! But since you no longer have the bottle, there is no way we can know for sure if your bottle was the same as mine.... Guest guest
yes I think you are right b/c I remember reading something like that. The ND told me to take 2 drops dropped in water. I really think a drop is 153mcg otherwise what would be the point of the dropper? We have to have some way to measure. Also the RDA for iodine is 150mcg!!! So one drop would =the RDA. I thought I was taking alot at 300mcg! Now I think that dose was goofy. Gracia OK. The reason I asked is that the specifics on my bottle are quite misleading unless you read it VERY carefully.
