Hi Cassie

As we have over 650 members to date, it can be extremely difficult to remember what medication everyone is taking, and you will find that even though people do keep on posting what they are taking, we often still need to be reminded - I know, I suffer with this and I wish there was a cure.

Have you done the 24 hour salivary adrenal profile to see where your DHEA levels lie at the 4 specific times during the day. Have you tested to see whether you have Candida Albicans. Have you asked your GP to test your ferritin level (stored iron) and also your vitamin D level. Any of these not being right can cause your thyroxine not be be absorbed. Have you had your Free T3 tested to see if you are actually converting the inactive hormone T4 into the active hormone T3?

Hi Cassie

see the Wiki on

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ramipril

may cause swelling of the mouth, tongue, or throat

low blood sugar in patients taking other medicine for diabetes which shows as sweating or shakiness

Dry cough may develop, dizziness, and light-headedness due to low blood pressure. (It is recommended to start treatment with the lowest dose.)

My comment:

that would be a good place to start looking and enquiring of your doc if that is a necessary medicine now.

Aim to reduce unnecessary meds if they are supposed to be treating symptoms of an underactive thryoid.

best wishes

Bob

Bob I've been taking Ramipril for about 2 years now. Could it be the

increase in Levo recently that has caused a reaction and made me feel

like this?

Love ya:-)
