Guest guest
Help! I had my gallbladder ultrasound today. The tech told me that I had a bad gallbladder and A LOT of stones. She tried to call my doctor but since I work at my doctors clinic, I let her know that she was not in today. She seemed really concerened but at the time I wasn't in much pain so she said it could probably wait until tomorrow when I see my doc. Well tonight I am in agony, I am hurting and it feels wierd, feel like my gallbladder is turning slow motion spins which it has never done before. It just started about 9pm and it is now 11:38pm and still going. I am terrifed that my gallbladder will rupture. How will i know if it ruptures? How can i know the difference in a rupture and an attack? Thanks,
Guest guest
, sounds like you are going into a " psychosomatic " negative reaction to your lab report. I would truly doubt if significant change has occurred physiologically in your body, but your stress level has skyrocketed giving you real pain, real spasms, real concern. You now have the opportunity to ratchet the stress levels back down but it will take some effort. it's totally proven that STRESS can trigger an attack. There are more nerves in your digestive tract than anywhere else except the brain (it's been called the " second brain " ). Thoughts can cause spasms, attacks, and pain. Your mind can turn into your worst enemy. If you can use all the tools to your avail to reduce your panic level, you can quickly get back to a place where you can sanely and safely proceed to a plan for stone dissolving and flushing. If not, then you are probably going to need some help from the medical people. If you are in an extreme crisis, go in. You don't necesarily need surgery, but you can get pain rx and calming rx. THIS WORKS AND WORKS FAST: 1) Rescue Remedy 2) Breathing Exercises 3) Prayer 4) Thought Control 5) Heating pad over the liver 6) Castor Oil packs with heat 7) Walking, swimming, moving 8) Broth, juice, (bland) diet 9) Massage, particularly foot massage 10) Herbs, enzymes, vitamins, supplements See the Archives and reference books for details Will in Minneapolis
Guest guest
Since you work in a doctor's clinic you should be able to get some help reading your lab work---ie: liver panel. If it's way out of range and you are indeed in a state of dire situation you need to consider every option. What I did was stop eating all meat, all fats. Go strickly fruit and juice. This will stop the gallbladder working trying to produce bile. And it may calm it down and the pain may stop for a while which will give you time for a second opinion and additional tests (I had a cat scan as well) Problem is you can't live this way we need to eat fat so the gallbaddler emptys out. But the right fats. But for now this should help with the spasms. Also a heating pad on the area helps. We are not doctors here so this is only what I did but there are situations where you must get other opinions. And there are some situations where surgery is necessary. From many sites it says fever --go to hospital. I do believe in the flushing and it does work for many of us--but we can't or say in every person this is the only way to go. When in doubt go to the ER. tina --- In gallstones , " theotherem " <theotherem@y...> wrote: > > Help! > I had my gallbladder ultrasound today.
