Guest guest
Is it possible you're lactose intolerant? I had the same problem until I came off dairy. Sent: Monday, December 12, 2005 3:58 AM gallstones Subject: gas and bloating I am diagnozed of 2-3 gall stones of 10 mm. The ultrasound was done 2 year back due to excessive production of gas. The gas was so much that in the first ultra sound pancreas was obscured with gas. What is the reason of this excessive amount of gas which started 2 years back. Before this, I did not have any complaint at all. I was also diagnozed with a fatty lever Grade I. The doctor in medicine told me that I have silent stones since absolutely, I don't have any pain. It is gas pressure only which disturbs me under the right and left ribs and all over my belly. There is belching associated with it sometime. The doctor told me that either I have Irritable Bowl Syndrom (IBS) or it is due to fatty lever. He advised me to cut my weight, which stands at 95 kgs at present, which will reduce fatty lever. Now, I would inquire from the experienced members, is this excessive gas production is due to gall stones or other reasons stated by the doctor. What are these silent stones, as he told that everybody has stones in GB and if they start disturbing, then one has to get his gb out. I am very fed up of this gas disturbance. Another question, does frequent ultrasound pose to radiation dangers ? __________________________________________________
Guest guest
excessove gas is from a high meat diet ,every time you eat meat your stomach has to secrete HCL acid , your liver has to empty its bile out, your intestines form a mucaloid lining to protect itself from the HCL and from the meat. Yes the human body can digest meat but that does not mean we eat 80% meat and 20 % sugar. (typical american diet cheese burger and pepsi) . How meat is then digested in the intestines is by decompisition and being broken down into methane gas. Natural paths and herbalists recomend a 40 juice fast or at least a 40 non meat , no sugar , no sugar substitute diet , no pop! richard shultz intestinal formula 1 and 2 is the easiest way I know to deal with intestinal cleaning but is most effective with a juice diet or vegan diet during the time of the cleansing. besides this is the issue of parasites. khawakaqaiser@... wrote: > I am diagnozed of 2-3 gall stones of 10 mm. Guest guest
I would take a serious look at and treat Candida. I would also consider a dietary adjustment. SCD has been extremely helpful for many folks with gastro issues. LDN is rarely a stand alone tx. Most of us still need to address other issues. Someone else who already has them bookmarked can add the proboard links about candida and why it seems to rear up after starting LDN. I have severe Leaky Gut, but I really haven't been doing anything different with my diet, so I'm thinking that it's related to the LDN. My questions are: 1. Am I correct, that this is LDN-related?2. Is it possible to have symptoms like this appear after several weeks on LDN?3. Do I push through, or do I lower the dose? Thanks,Tara ------------------------------------
Guest guest
Hi Jaxi,I'm eating two foods, so a dietary adjustment isn't possible at this time. SCD didn't work for me, unfortunately. I am going to try the GAPS diet soon, however...don't know how that will go since I react to everything due to the Leaky Gut. My question is, is this a normal reaction after several weeks on LDN? Let's say, if it weren't candida? Thanks,TaraOn Mon, Jan 3, 2011 at 9:05 AM, jaxi <jaxi.schulz@...> wrote: I would take a serious look at and treat Candida. I would also consider a dietary adjustment. Guest guest
Tara, When I first started on LDN I had abdominal pains and bloating and gas. It took a few weeks to resolve - but I did look into and treat for Candida at that time - I didn't have any fancy tests done but everything I read about Candida and how opportunistic it is just made sense. I treated with grapefruit seed extract - tablets because I could not tolerate the taste of the liquid version, oil of oregano, caprylic (sp) on a rotation. I personally did not do the dietary stuff beyond what I already do - which is a diet fairly limited in sugars to start with. I know what I can get away with eating and what I cannot - confirmed every time when I eat one of the things I should not. I would gently suggest you not rule Candida out even if some test at some point did not show it - many tests are notoriously poor at testing what they supposedly test for. With a gut in as bad a shape as yours sounds like it is I can almost guarantee you have Candida issues. If it looks and quacks like a duck - well it probably isn't a zebra - if you know what I mean. Remind me what the 2 foods you are eating that you seem to be able to tolerate are? My memory only holds things for so long unless they relate to my work and then it never seems to let go.
