Dr. Skinner said that pale colour is one of the signs of hypothyroidism.

I was always under the impression that if you had antibodies then the TSH can be very unreliable and that if they are high it does signify Hashimotos.

Am I right Sheila? ;)

Googled yellow pallor+hypothyroid and what came up but pernicious anaemia, and after reading info from different sites thought it was a real possiblilty especially because of the pallor and if I could get a diagnosis for this, I might be able to link it in to my thyroid problems and get them to look at things differently. But no my B12 is ok. I still have the yellowy pallor and a waxy look and the doctor doesn't have an explanation for it. I've always been pale so this is strange.

Hi ,

Interesting as I have adrenal insufficiency - I'll take a look.

Although I should have said, a used tea bag! and it is even, all over

my face - I could use a bit of colour but it's a sickly colour!

Thanks,

Gill S
