Guest guest
Liz, by all means don't let anything any of us say to another member discourage you about the different drugs that are mentioned on this forum. I take it from your previous posts, over the last few days, that you have been confused and concerned about your liver elevations and about whether or not you wanted to continue with your Remicade. Remicade has helped many people, it is a very good drug for people that have tried methotrexate without success and I would never discourage anyone if their Remicade was helping them with their spondy symptoms and if you were tolerating the infusion site well. Your doctor and you are the only ones to decide on a course of treatment for your particular ailment and disease stage. It is very true that one drug will be very effective for one person and not for another. It is the same with the different NSAID and DMARD and Pain medications we have to take. Our bodies are all different. We all know that. Those of us that answer posts are just here to pass on things that we have gleaned by reading or have heard others say. We aren't doctors or scientists...just patients with the same disease who hear from people, just like us, from other forums, and many of us read articles and medical abstracts that interests us. I don't think any of us claim to know it all. So things said here should be taken in that light. Like Brie said, nothing we say here is written in stone....some could very well be written in sand or smoke....Here one day...gone the next...as we advance on our quest for something that will help us more than in the past. At least, we have things to talk about now. Years ago...all we had was Indocin and a hand shake. Hope you are feeling better soon. connie (granny)

Guest guest
Hello Margaret Hope you enjoy your weekend with the " baby " and the weather is lovely and sunny. Don't read too much and depress yourselves about thyroid disease - be positive, and believe that finding TPA-UK is the best thing to happen to you all. I really wish you all the luck you deserve and that you will get well very soon.
